Restaurants

Zero zero (Principe Real) - Italian restaurant, good value for money, lovely outdoor patio.

Lost in (Principe Real)- Moroccan style, amazing views, quite touristy but locals go here too. Garden is lovely and great views of the city.

Zambeze - Portuguese / Mozambican fusion, seafood, lovely view (river / city view).

Osteria (Santos / Lapa)- little Italian restaurant (I don’t think they accept card) in a very typical Lisbon neighbourhood.

Fares (Cais do Sodré) - Lebanese, very small restaurant so sometimes hard to get a table, close to cais do sodre (nightlight area).

Psi (Pena)- Amazing vegetarian/ vegan place (Asian influence / fusion).

31 D’Armada (Alcantara) - Portuguese food, outdoor space.

5 oceanos (Docas) - Located in a popular restaurant area by the river called Docas. Good restaurant for some fish (or any Portuguese cod dish).

Cafe Janis (Cais do Sodré / Santos) - all day food, good for a coffee, drink or light lunch.

Forno D’Oro (Amoreiras) - Good place for a pizza.

Cervejaria Ramiros (Almirante Reis) - Opened in 1956 as a small “casa de pasto”. Typical Portuguese food/ seafood (cervejaria/marisqueira).

El Pibe (Pena)- Good value for money, Argentinian empanadas.

Clube dos Jornalistas (Lapa)- hidden gem, beautiful restaurant, very friendly staff and there is a patio at the back. At the end, they usually offer a gift (e.g., tote bag, bookmark - merchandise).

Palacio Chiado (Chiado)- An old mansion, built in 1781, unique venue, Portuguese food.

Casa do Alentejo (Portas de Santo Antão) - Typical portuguese food, unique venue dedicated to the culture / cuisine of Alentejo (a region in Portugal).
